About APMSSTU

The pioneer trade union and democratic collective of educators across Andhra Pradesh Model Schools.

Empowering the Pioneers of Rural English-Medium Education

Andhra Pradesh Model Schools were conceptualized to provide world-class, English-medium education to talented rural children across Educationally Backward Mandals (EBMs). To protect the rights, service conditions, and academic freedom of the faculty recruited into these schools, the Andhra Pradesh Model Schools State Teachers Union (APMSSTU) was established.

Since its inception, APMSSTU has steadfastly championed the causes of Principals, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), serving as the vital bridge between frontline educators, the Andhra Pradesh Model School Society, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
